Switch to Planning Center Giving

Beginning November 16, 2025, we are making a switch from our current donor management system (Shelby) to Planning Center (Church Center). You may already be familiar with Planning Center as we use them for our event registrations, RHCC Kids check-in, and some volunteer scheduling. Making this switch brings all of your data to one secure location. You’ll be able to easily give, register for events, change your profile, access your giving records, and more, all with one account.

We’re sure this will come with some questions, so please take a look below and hopefully we can answer them.

How to switch

Step 1: Sign up for Planning Center Giving

  1. Click the button below (or go to rhccevents.com)
  2. Click on “Log-In” in the top right corner
  3. Enter your cell phone number or email, then enter the code sent to you.
  4. Follow the instructions to log-in. That’s it!
  5. Now that you’re logged in, click on “Give”
  6. Follow the prompts to select where you would like to give, amount, and frequency.
  7. Add your payment method.
  8. Click the button to confirm your gift and you’re done!

Step 2: Cancel recurring gifts (if you have them)

  1. Click the button below 
  2. Click “Sign-in”
  3. Enter your email address and password, or get a one time passcode, and sign in.
  4. Click on “Scheduled”
  5. If you have a current recurring gift, you’ll see it listed here. Click on the trash button on the right side of the gift.
  6. Confirm that you want to stop this payment.
  7. Log out. You did it!

FAQs

What is the advantage of switching to Planning Center?
Instead of having two different systems, one for giving (Shelby) and one for events (Planning Center). All of your information will be stored on one secure system that is easy for you to access. You’ll now be able to easily give, change your profile, access your giving records, register for events, and more, all with one account.
What happens to my current giving account?
Your past giving data and privacy are safe and remain our priority through the transition. Historical donation data from 2022 - November 9, 2025 has already been migrated over to Planning Center Giving and linked with your profile. Giving records post November 10, 2025 are forthcoming. Why should I set up recurring giving?
Setting up a recurring gift is a simple way to put God first in your finances and stay consistent in generosity. Your faithful giving helps our church plan ahead and continue sharing God’s love in our community and beyond. 
When do I have to switch by?
We will automatically switch to Planning Center on November 16th. If you are a recurring giver, you have until December 31st to switch your recurring gift to Planning Center using the steps above.
